Custom homes, carried from the first walk of the land to the keys.
Trent Hills is home. We've poured foundations across Campbellford, Hastings, Warkworth, and the townships along the Trent since 1993. There's no ground we know better.
Three decades here means we know what a given lot is likely to hand you — the shield rock that sits shallow in one concession, the deep clay in the next, the frost depth, the way the Trent and its feeders set the water table. Build here with us and you aren't paying for anyone's learning curve. We've likely dug near your property, and we know the township offices, the inspectors, and the local trades by name.
The properties run from riverfront and rolling farmland to bush lots off the county roads, and the owners are building the house they intend to keep. That's the work we're built for: local, unhurried, and accountable to neighbours we'll see around Campbellford for the next twenty years.
Custom Homes in Trent Hills.
A custom home is a thousand decisions. Our designer sits down with you and gets the house on paper, then it goes back and forth until it's right. Once the design is settled we pull the permit and price the build off real drawings instead of a guess. That's the order it has to happen in. Most of the projects we hear about went wrong long before anyone broke ground.
Then we build it. Excavation and footings first, because that's the part our family has been doing since 1993 and the part we get right before anything else. Then framing, mechanical, finishes, and every conversation in between about cabinets and floors and stone. A house between four and eight thousand square feet takes about a year.
You aren't hiring a company. You're hiring us, and the network behind us. Two of every trade in this region, most of it built over twenty years or handed down from our dad. When something comes up on site, it gets solved that day.
The same two brothers, minutes from our Campbellford yard.
- A Trent Hills family in the trade since 1993 — foundations first, whole homes now
- One family carries the whole build. No handoffs.
- Two of every trade behind the build, so problems get solved same-day
How long does a custom home take, start to finish?
Design and permits first, then about a year of build for a house between four and eight thousand square feet. Bigger takes longer. We'd rather give you the honest range than a date we'd have to walk back.
What size of home do you build?
Mostly new custom homes between four and eight thousand square feet, built on your land from the foundation up. That's the work we specialize in.
Why choose you over a larger builder?
The network behind us. We work with two of every trade in this region, and most of those relationships were built over twenty years or passed down from our dad and mentors with fifty years in the business. When a problem comes up on your site, it gets solved that day, not next week. You aren't hiring one builder. You're hiring that network.
Will the budget I start with be the budget I finish with?
Closer than you may be used to, because we don't price your house from a guess. We price it from finished drawings, after the design is settled and the permit is pulled. If a material or a site condition changes the number, you hear about it that week, not at the end of the job.
Do we need an architect, or do you provide the design?
We work with our own designer. She spends a day with you on what you want, then brings you plans and revises them with you until they're right. If you already have an architect or finished plans, we're glad to build to them.
