The view from the build site — sunset over the lake

Phase 01Imagine.

We sit on your land before we draw a line.

The first phase is questions, walks, and listening — what the property is asking for, where the morning light lands, where the wind comes from, and what you're actually trying to build. Most owners arrive with a clear idea of the house. Fewer arrive with a clear idea of the land. Our work in this phase is making sure those two ideas agree.

What happens

A first conversation, by phone or in person. If we're a fit, we walk the property together — usually with the owners, sometimes with the architect they've already met, often with Caleb taking notes and Jordan taking pictures. We come back with a written summary: what we heard, what we observed, what we'd recommend exploring next.

For most projects, this phase takes four to six weeks. It is unhurried on purpose. The decisions you make in Imagine cost nothing on paper and everything later if they're wrong.
